In-person Services Update!
Following the opening of our churches for private prayer last week, we are planning on a cautious resumption of services in our churches from next week (Sunday 14th March).
The same precautions will be in place, masks, hand sanitising and social distancing.
You will need to book in advance by contacting Sarah on firstname.lastname@example.org as before. As we approach Holy Week and Easter we expect higher than usual interest, so please do consider which services would be a priority for you. If we are over booked, we may need to prioritise those who have not previously been able to attend.
More details about Holy Week and Easter services can be found in the weekly bulletin.
We want the word to go out that we are here for you at this time of great uncertainty.
We have made resources available online and in a read-at-home sheet (weekly bulletin). This way people can share in the ‘Same story – different place and time’.
Mr Vicarage and I invite you join us to pray each day at 12 noon and 6pm. I have posted short prayers on the website (Prayers at Home). This way we can ‘Pray together at the same time, in different places’.
Every Sunday there is also a live service online with Rev'd Katrina. Please click on this link for details of all Sunday Services
If you are anxious, unwell or fearful for yourself or someone else, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me or any of the ministry team, our Pastoral co-ordinator or our administrator by phone or email (contact).
We are definitely still here for you.
God of compassion,
be close to those who are ill, afraid or in isolation.
In their loneliness, be their consolation;
in their anxiety, be their hope;
in their darkness, be their light;
through him who suffered alone on the cross,
but reigns with you in glory,
Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
