The churches of the Anna Benefice are opening for private prayer: Churches revised opening times: From 27th July 2020, the churches will usually be open as follows:
Monday: All Saints Upper Clatford 10am - 4pm Tuesday: St Peter Goodworth Clatford 10am - 4pm Wednesday: St Mary Abbotts Ann 2pm -7.30pm Thursday: All Saints Upper Clatford 10 - 4pm Friday: St Peter Goodworth Clatford 10am - 4pm
We are pleased to be able to take this first step towards reopening our churches more fully. All visitors will be welcomed and asked to wash or sanitise their hands before sitting socially distanced from other visitors not from their own house-hold. On arrival we will also ask you for your name and a contact phone number or email, in case it is needed for contact tracing at a later date. We will otherwise leave you undisturbed in peace and quiet.
Please note, it is now mandatory to wear face coverings in all places of worship where there may be other people present. The advice highlights that face coverings are mainly intended to protect other people, not the wearer, from coronavirus and that they are not a replacement for physical distancing and regular hand washing.
We hope to see you soon.

We want the word to go out that we are here for you at this time of great uncertainty. We have made resources available online and in a read-at-home sheet (weekly bulletin). This way people can share in the ‘Same story – different place and time’. Mr Vicarage and I invite you join us to pray each day at 12 noon and 6pm (you can join in live with us at 6pm (Monday-Saturday), details on Prayers at Home page). I have posted simple short prayers on the same page. This way we can ‘Pray together at the same time, in different places’.
Please join us for a live Sunday service online with Rev'd Katrina, please click on this link for details Sunday Services Our churches are now holding a Holy Communion service each Sunday at 10am, please click on this link for more information.

Katrina God of compassion, be close to those who are ill, afraid or in isolation. In their loneliness, be their consolation; in their anxiety, be their hope; in their darkness, be their light; through him who suffered alone on the cross, but reigns with you in glory, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Events & Activities
Regretably we have had to cancel all our church activities for the time being due to the government's advice regarding the Coronavirus outbreak. We will be looking to send out resources for people to engage with at home and we will be keeping in touch via facebook and here on the website, as well as email when we can. If you need any help or support during this uncertain time, or are worried for anyone else, please don't hesitate to be in touch.
As the situation develops you can keep up to date with our arrangements by looking at the benefice website and facebook page.
